Sodium Aluminate for Accelerator: This product has high solid content, long storage stability period, low dosage (usually 2.5%~5.5%), and is prepared by mixing other auxiliary materials. It coagulates quickly and has good effect adaptability.

 

 

The accelerator is classified as two types as powder accelerator and liquid accelerator according to its properties. The powder accelerator is mainly used for dry shotcrete, which has disadvantages such as large dust, uneven mixing and high rebound. The liquid accelerator is mainly used for wet shotcrete, which is gradually replacing the dry shotcrete process due to its advantages such as good construction environment, low rebound rate and high construction quality. Especially in large-scale water conservancy projects, the wet shotcrete process is widely used for the excavation and support construction. Moreover, due to the improvement of requirements for project durability indicators and environmental-protection, the demands for liquid accelerator rise sharply.

 

 

The liquid accelerator is classified as high alkali liquid accelerator, low alkali liquid accelerator, and alkali-free liquid accelerator according to the alkali content. It is classified as water glass type, sodium aluminate type, aluminium sulfate type, etc. according to the main accelerating components. The sodium aluminate type is mainly composed of sodium aluminate as the main accelerating component, and matches some modifying components, organic alcohol amines, viscosity increasing components or glycerol.
